Sergio Sepulveda Sunez, DPT, is a doctor of physical therapy and the founder of Longwood Rehabilitation and Cardiac Recovery Center, a developing outpatient cardiac rehabilitation clinic in Longwood, Florida.
Sergio has extensive clinical experience in cardiac care, hospital-based rehabilitation, and medical intensive care unit (ICU) recovery. He has worked with medically complex patients recovering from serious illness, heart-related conditions, procedures, hospitalization, weakness, deconditioning, and loss of endurance.
He has also completed extensive advanced coursework in physical therapy, therapeutic exercise, and safe physical activity for individuals with cardiac and pulmonary conditions. His clinical focus is helping patients recover safely, build endurance, improve strength, and regain confidence through structured, medically guided cardiac rehabilitation.
Longwood Rehabilitation and Cardiac Recovery Center is being developed to support patients who are referred for outpatient cardiac rehab after qualifying heart-related conditions. The clinic’s planned approach emphasizes supervised exercise, education, lifestyle support, and risk-factor management in a clear, practical, and patient-centered setting.
Sergio is bilingual in English and Spanish and is committed to making cardiac rehabilitation easier to understand, more approachable, and more supportive for patients and families.
